Running Creek Beef Farm-Gate
Fancy yourself a connoisseur of fresh, local produce or maybe you’re just a fan of delicious food? Get your empty esky ready and hit Running Creek Beef’s Farm Gate this Saturday, July 4. From 9am – 12:30pm you can stock up on Running Creek Beef’s famous pies and a range of local Scenic Rim produce including cheeses, homemade sodas, fresh veggies, Kooroomba Gully sauces & chutneys and Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard grape & verjuice. It’s also a beautiful drive to Running Creek (pictured above).
Binna Burra Kitchen
Binna Burra Kitchen is back, at the Old School in Beechmont. The new general store is filled with the best of the Scenic Rim and you’ll also be able to sample all of these beautiful ingredients on their new menu! They’ll be open this weekend from 7am-8pm Saturday and 7am – 4pm Sunday.

Say g’day to Bluey and Bingo
Stay at Kirro are hosting special guests this winter. Visitors have been travelling from near and far to get their #selfies with the Bluey and Bingo hay bale creations. These hay bales have brought a range of people to the area, from all age groups! Pop by, snap a pic and don’t forget to tag @stayatkirro

Wineries
There are a range of wineries to visit in the region for lunch or a tasting, but make sure you book ahead!
Sarahbah Estate Vineyard is opening their cellar door from 11am this Friday through to Sunday. Start with a tasting before enjoying lunch in the winter sunshine. You can also get some fine local drops from these local cellar doors (or online, if you don’t make it to them all!) The Overflow Estate 1895, Cedar Creek Estate, Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard and Kooromba Vineyard and Lavender Farm. Be sure to book ahead!
Pubs
If enjoying a pub meal and cold beer sounds like your perfect Saturday, the Bearded Dragon Hotel in Mount Tamborine is calling your name! Enjoy all the classics (chicken parmy anyone?) this Friday from 10am to 8pm or Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 8pm. Bookings are a must! You’ll also find the Australian Hotel and Dugandan Hotel are open.
Scenic Rim Brewery in Mt Alford has also opened their doors and is serving up the cold craft brews we’ve all been missing. It’s essential you book ahead and make sure to try the new beer inspired ice cream as part of the Brewery’s latest collaboration with Lick! Ice Cream. Don’t forget to book first!
