Climate

Located in the sunshine state, the Scenic Rim generally offers perfect Queensland weather. In autumn the Scenic Rim welcomes the beautiful auburn colours and cooler temperatures around the low 20s, ideal for bushwalking. Winter brings crisp, misty mornings (sometimes dipping to a cool 6 °C), followed by clear days and stunning sunsets. It’s the perfect time to keep cosy around a fire after a day of exploring. Springtime brings an abundance of colourful wildflowers and longer days with plenty of sunshine, while summer promises warm weather, usually around the high 20s and 30s. Don’t miss those famous golden sunsets.

Our area is in the grip of an ongoing drought, but we hope you see the beauty in our sunburnt country. No matter the weather, you’re always welcome to visit.
