Connection and collaboration
Care
Justice and Sustainability (Care for our environment)
We encourage mentoring and pathways for young and emerging artists through professional development and support our members wherever they are in their creative journey. The collective is a voice for the creative community and will advocate to support and promote the arts and artists of this region.
TMAC values collaborative, artistic projects that strengthen community and seek to inspire, challenge and foster social change in the places we live. We acknowledge our special responsibility to care for the Mountain and the environments that sustain and inspire our creativity and aim to do our part in restoring ecological integrity.
The members of Tamborine Mountain Arts Collective acknowledge the First Nations Traditional Owners, the Wangerriburra peoples of this land and support connection to and learning from their Elders past, present and emerging leaders. We aim to follow the example of Indigenous Reciprocity & sovereignty and uplift the wellbeing of this richly important culture to our region and heritage.
