Rathdowney or Tamrookum are the local food outlets, and just a 30 minute drive to the rivers or Dams for a swim, and mountains to climb.
For little more indulgence, Harris Cottage, is a beautiful old Queensland high set style cottage with three bedrooms hosting two Queen Beds and 3 singles. There is a kitchen, bathroom, dining area, and lounge area. A large deck overlooking the beautiful countryside and fenced yard for playing games outdoors. Under the house there is room for outdoor entertainment, laundry and BBQ. Enjoy your evenings relaxing around the campfire gazing at our beautiful night sky. It is 2WD vehicle accessible but because of the stairs is not suited for wheelchair access. This holiday rental is situated at the entrance to Scenic Rim Adventure Park. where you can go bush walking if you’re fit. If you have a 4WD vehicle for an additional vehicle fee you can enter the 680 acre property with over 28 kilometres of 4WD tracks to explore.
