Kerry Valley Secret is an exclusive bush campsite, perfect for groups – once you have booked no-one else will be able to camp here!
We recognise that when you escape from everyday life to catch up with friends and family you also like be in the bush, soak up all the peace and quiet and have it ALL to yourself.
The campsite is situated on the babbling Stockyard Creek and there is a short walk to the bigger Albert River swimming hole. This pretty spot features Silky Oaks and Ironwood trees, views to Luke’s Bluff and Ding Bing falls in Lamington National Park, has plenty of shade for tents and a huge space for caravans and camper trailers to turn around in.
Family groups love the site for the babbling but shallow child friendly Stockyard Creek – perfect for paddling and playing in. Friends love it for catch ups, the bird watching, small historical and nature walks around the property and of course the cool swimming hole in the Albert River near camp. Other groups use Kerry Valley Secret as a base camp for hiking adventures in the wilderness end of Lamington National Park.
We love where we live and we know you will too:
- Bring your togs and floaties to cool down in the swimming hole on the Albert River.
- Don’t forget the marshmallows to roast on the fire at night (firewood provided).
- Binoculars and boots are a must for bird watching and exploring our walking tracks through the forest.
Our campsites are tidy bush sites that we will develop as time goes on. Facilities include a picnic table, sink and basic toilet facilities (a portaloo).
Exclusivity is a feature of this campsite and for that reason we only take a flat rate booking. Once you have booked no one else will be able to camp at this site, it is all yours.
