Building on the esteemed legacy of the Bangalow Music Festival (2001 – 2023), the SXS Chamber Music Festival is one of Australia’s premier chamber music events. Presented by the Southern Cross Soloists, the festival brings together world-class musicians in an intimate and immersive setting, celebrating both classical masterworks and bold contemporary compositions. In 2004, Australian composer Peter Sculthorpe described it as, “the most exciting festival, outside a capital city, that I have ever attended”.
