We are so excited for you to join us on our Farm Gate Trail this Easter Saturday from 10am – 2pm!
The Scenic Rim is made up of a range of charming towns, and with 15 stops along our Farm Gate Trail that is a lot of ground to cover. We’ve created some itineraries for you to follow below, with suggestions, so you can visit some of your favourites with plenty of time, and save some for your next visit!

Itinerary A. Kalbar, Boonah, Mt Alford & Surrounds
If you’re keen on meeting some camels, tasting some local fresh produce and getting a selfie with the sunflowers then this itinerary is for you! Try and visit all of the stops from 1 – 5 (approx 50 minutes driving time between 1 – 5) or choose your favourites so you can stay at each a little while longer.

Itinerary B. Running Creek & surrounds
If you’re wanting a one-stop shop, look no further than Running Creek Beef (approx 1 hour and 40 minutes from Brisbane). They will have everything from pies (hot or frozen), grass-fed beef cuts and a BBQ available for lunch including gourmet chutney and sauces from local chef Lana Flutterby. They’ll also have a range of other local produce available to buy and fill your Empty Esky with. If you’re wanting to walk down the creek, please bring fully covered shoes that can get wet and muddy.

Itinerary C. Wyaralong, Allenview & Beaudesert
Looking to pair the perfect cheese and wine? These stops are for you! Stop by Towri Sheep Cheeses for all your ewenique sheep cheese essentials before heading off to The Overflow Estate 1895 to find the perfect wine to go with your delicious cheese.

Itinerary D. Christmas Creek & Kerry
If you’re a self-proclaimed foodie, Itinerary D is for you. Not only will you find local produce from Christmas Creek Garlic and White’s Farm (and don’t forget it’s an honesty box system), you will then be able to get your hands on warm hot cross buns, award-winning butter, delicious ice cream, and stock up on a range of their local artisan dairy products, pork & veal,Tommy’s eggs after you’ve enjoyed your morning Easter treats. It’s also a chance for the whole fam to meet some very cute animals at Tommerup’s Dairy Farm.

11. White’s Farm – Pumpkins and Avocados

Itinerary E. Sarabah, Canungra, & Tamborine Mountain
You might need to bring a driver for this itinerary! Stop in at Sarabah Estate Vineyard and O’Rielly’s Canungra Valley Vineyard to walk the vines, grab some local, delicious wine and get a selfie with an alpaca before heading to Off The Farm in Canungra for the freshest fruit, vegetables and produce sourced from locals to make the perfect grazing board, and then make your way to Tamborine Mountain Distillery to grab a bottle of your favourite liquor.
